Inauguration

I've never heard such a commotion about a presidential inauguration before. There seems to be an excitement and a hubbub that I am certainly not caught up in and that I really don't understand. The nightly news is citing school children who are planning trips back to Washington DC to see the event. Church leaders, celebrities and blacks all over the nation are making the trek. It's been reported that three million people are expected to converge upon the capital! It's like they are all goin' to Mecca. I picture in my mind a Muslim temple where all of the thousands of worshippers are bowed down in rows with their foreheads touching the floor. It seems like that is the reaction and frame of mind of the masses in this country (and probably the world) about the up-coming inauguration. The words "brainwashed", and "misled" and "desperate", are words that come to mind as I picture these masses. And I wonder how this new president is going to save them all. Instead of excitement over this "historic event" I feel a dread and fear about the future with this new leader in charge.

Yes! This is a "BLACK" day in History, all the blacks are goin' to Mecca! The wind chill is bringing the temperature down to about 10 degrees there! Brrrr! And... to think those ppl. are spending the night outside in the cold to save their spot for the show!

I am under strict doctor's orders NOT to watch any of this hoopla as it will definitely make my blood pressure go sky high. The damage being done to the constitution, our country and my bank account is bad enough, I don't need to damage my health watching it happen.

Can you imagine the mindset of a man who will spend over $170 million on this "party" for himself when our country is in a severe financial crisis/recession/depression as we are now. It makes me shudder/cringe/cry to think of what's next. The next several generations are going to handing their paychecks to China to pay for what he plans to spend our money on.
